    American Shakespeare Center | Blackfriars Playhouse: Located next door to Hotel 24 South sits the world's only re-creation of Shakespeare's indoor theatre. With rotating performances, the "ASC" has been making Shakespeare accessible for the past 23 years.     The Woodrow Wilson Birthplace: no visit to Staunton would be complete without a tour of the "Manse", Wilson's birthplace. Part Presidential Library and part History Tour (don't miss the World War I trench exhibit) this Museum has something for everyone. https://www.woodrowwilson.org/

    Shop and Dine Out Downtown: Will resume on weekends beginning Friday, April 5, 2024 to provide additional opportunities to welcome residents and visitors for shopping and outdoor dining on weekends and will continue through October 27, 2024. Beverley Street will close on Friday evenings at 4 p.m. with dining and shopping to start at 5 pm. The street will remain closed until Monday mornings at 7:30 a.m. each weekend. Cross streets will remain open.

    This initiative allows restaurants on Beverley Street-that don't have outdoor spac-to spill out onto the sidewalk and even the street! Restaurants, tasting rooms, and retailers are maximizing the extra square footage to safely accommodate customers that are eager to get out and shop, dine, and explore in Staunton.'=

    Staunton Farmers Market: Opens April 6th  2024. ​Regular Hours: Saturdays, 7am-12 noon, APR-SEPT. FALL HOURS: Saturdays, 8am-12 noon, OCT 7th-NOV 23rd (weekend before Thanksgiving) WINTER Holiday MARKET:Saturdays in December 7th, 14th, & 21st, 9am-1pm. Farm, Food and Artisan Products from local vendors, weekly live music.
